RockAutoz

A trust-first parts request experience that turns vehicle details into a fast, confident quote.

RockAutoz — cover

Context

RockAutoz supplies OEM and aftermarket parts for cars and trucks, shipped across the USA — engines, transmissions, suspension, brakes, electrical components, wheels and tires. The brief was a marketing and lead-generation site that earns the trust of both DIY drivers and professional shops, then converts an uncertain part hunt into a quoted request in minutes.

Problem

Buying used and aftermarket parts online is a high-anxiety purchase. Three things work against the sale: fitment uncertainty (will this part actually match my vehicle), trust (is this seller credible and is the part tested), and a slow path from interest to an actual quote. A generic catalogue makes the buyer do all the matching work and rarely closes.

Approach

Built the whole experience around the fitment request rather than a catalogue. The hero pairs a confident value proposition with a structured "Find your part in minutes" form that captures year, make, model, trim, engine and VIN, so the team can match and quote fast. Trust was engineered through a dark industrial aesthetic, explicit guarantees (tested and verified parts, nationwide shipping, warranty protection, expert support), real customer reviews from mechanics and drivers, and an FAQ that answers the buying objections before they stall the request. Every section resolves back to the same two actions: submit a part request or call.

What changed

  • Lead-with-fitment hero form capturing year, make, model, trim, engine and VIN
  • Part category grid (engines, transmissions, suspension, brakes, electrical, wheels & tires) routing into the request flow
  • Trust engineered through guarantees, real mechanic and driver reviews, and proof stats
  • Three-step "inquiry to doorstep" explainer that sets shipping expectations
